Pranam to new SarsanghChalak

photo.cms

Mohan Bahgwat is the new 'Sar Sangh Chalak' (chief) of the RSS. KS Sudarshan stepped down after nearly nine years at the helm, paving way for general secretary Mohan Bhagwat to succeed him.
A veterinary doctor by education, Mohanji dedicated himself completely for the service of society and became a pracharak (full time volunteer) of RSS.
Within Sangh circles, Bhagwat has a formidable reputation as a ‘back-to-basics’ hardliner—not least because of his physical resemblance to RSS founder Keshavrao Baliram Hedgewar. Bhagwat takes the conservative line that the RSS should primarily concentrate on ‘‘character building.

May Prabhu guide you to take RSS to new heights

The scheme is for the benefit of the girl child belonging to below poverty line families. Under it, Rs 6,500 would be deposited by the state government in the name of a girl child on the day she is born, which would accumulate to Rs one lakh after 18 years. This money will be then handed over to the girl.

The scheme has already been implemented in MP and has as brought about sea change in the society's attitude towards the girl child and improving sex ratio in the state.

Cleansing of Hindu Leadership in Kandhamal

It seems there is a plan to terminate and cleanse the Hindu leadership in Kadhamal who opposed the Christian missionary activities and organised reconversions of the tribals

It started with cold blooded murder of Swami Lakshmanananda and four others  in August 2008. Swami Lakshmanananda was in forefront opposing  the Christian missionary activities and organized reconversions of the tribals.

Months later another VHP worker Dhanu Pradhani was killed by three unidentified persons at Kumbharigaon in Brahmanigaon area of the district. Police sources said three unknown persons fired at Pradhani at 12.30 pm while he was at a school in Kumbharigaon. The 32-year-old VHP activist received wounds in his chest and head.

Now a local RSS leader was gunned down. About 15 armed ultras struck Rudiguma village in the wee hours and shot dead Prabhat Panigrahi, who was staying at an RSS activist's house.

Imagine the Hue and Cry the Secular Brigade would have raised if the dead was a Padre!

In Talibans Pakistan, Hindu need to wear Red patch in their pagadis (turban)

In Nazi Germany, Jews were required to wear a yellow Star of David on their clothing. In Taliban controlled region of Pakistan Hindus are being asked to wear a red patch in their pagadis (turban).

Our UPA govt. which has been vociferous when it comes to affairs of Minorities has turned a blind eye towards suffering of Hindus is other countries

Firaaq has no Congress connection

"Firaaq  has no Congress connection” says directed by Nandita Das.

it may be just a coincidence that -

  • Even though the film was ready for release over six months ago, it was being released now on poll eve to extract political mileage.
  • AICC(I) general secretary Rahul Gandhi attended a special screening of the movie in New Delhi on Tuesday. At the same time, the producers have rejected a request by the Gujarat government for a special screening for Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

My eagerly awaited next book - Expected to be a best seller

For support, is CPM going easy on Madani family?

Bonhomie between CPM and People's Democratic Party chief Abdul Nasser Madani, acquitted in the 1998 Coimbatore blasts case, in Kerala may not have come without a price. Investigations into some recent acts of terror reportedly point to the radical Muslim cleric-turned-politician's family. One of these relates to the 2005 bus burning case at Aluva near Kochi in which five men armed with pistols and other weapons had hijacked a Tamil Nadu State Road Transport Corporation bus soon after it left Kochi on September 9, 2005. They forced the driver to take it to an isolated spot. Later they set the bus on fire after forcing out the passengers. They were also shouting slogans in favour of Madani and against the Tamil Nadu government.

Police has found following evidence:

  1. Majeed Parambayi, an accused in the case, has also spilled the beans on Sufiya's alleged role in the case. The woman, he said, had called him to say that Madani was beaten up in the jail and that it was to be avenged. He also confessed to having distributed the money given by her to the accused after the crime.
  2. One of the accused in the case was Abdul Rahim, who along with three other youth from Kerala was killed by security forces in Kashmir in October 2008 while they were on their way to PoK. Sleuths are reportedly in possession of telephone call records between Rahim and Sufiya.
  3. A key witness in the case, Yousuf, had testified that the planning was done at the house of Madani's wife Sufiya at Eranakulam, sources said.Yousuf's statement recorded before a magistrate is part of the chargesheet filed recently by the police.

Inspite of substantial evidence Sufiya does not figure in the list of the accused!!!

Media blind when DYFI does a SRS in Trivandrum

An outlet of Café Coffee Day at Kowdiar was allegedly vandalised by a group of DYFI activists.

A restaurant employee said

“Around 100 DYFI activists armed with sticks and stones attacked the restaurant. When some customers tried to escape, they also attacked them, including women,”

A DYFI activist, however, told The Hindu that the DYFI Palayam area committee had taken out a march from Kowdiar Junction to the outlet to protest against the restaurant’s promotion of “immoral” activities among the youth.

Now the question is where is screaming headlines from Secular Media? Will Renuka declare a Cafe Bharo andolan this time? Where is the PINK Undie brigade? Will DYFI get Red Undies?

or Since its DYFI, Youth forum of CPM  it become a secular beating thus acceptable

State of Secular India - Continued - 4

Christian Pastors root for YSR

Pastors and Christian religious heads from the city and district expressed the view that only the Congress can safeguard and uphold the secular fabric of the Constitution that guarantees all citizens the freedom to pursue the religion of their choice. Thousands of pastors and Christian religious leaders participated in a meeting organised by Visakhapatnam Pastors Fellowship at the Municipal Stadium here on Friday.

Later giving details to newsmen, State Pastors Fellowship president Rev K. Pratap Sinha said that a Special Minority Corporation was established, a subsidy of Rs.20,000 was being extended to Christians to visit Jerusalem and Rs.15,000 worth material was being sanctioned to poor Christian couples who were marrying at mass weddings. All these benefits were being extended to Christians in AP as nowhere else in the country, he said and gave full credit to Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy for these programmes.

New Media policy: One bad news a day will keep communal away

Move over Gujarat, Karanataka is now favorite punching bag for secular media. It has now become almost a religious routine for secular media to publish one bad news about karnataka every day. I guess the rule is "One bad news a day will keep communal away"

Latest isssue is about installation of a Charlie Chaplin statute in Udupi. You would be forgiven for being "unsecularly" confused on what Charlie Chaplin has to do with Udupi.

Yesterday, media worked itself to a frenzy on how "saffron brigade didnot allow a Charlie Chaplin statue to be installed in Udupi".

Time of India which led the secular pack said

Hindutva brigands attacking a statue of Charlie Chaplin on the grounds that he was a Christian and having his statue close to a temple was offensive to Hindu sentiments may appear too bizzare to be taken seriously. It is indeed ludicrous. But unless such groups are dealt with summarily and the nuisance nipped in the bud, what seems farcical today could become tragically real tomorrow. The state government must show that it will not allow such lumpen activity to go unpunished. It must crack down hard to deter potential imitators of such trends.

Now look at some facts -

1. Well you may ask why he want a 67 feet statue?

Hemant Hegde the filmmaker was looking for Guinness Book of Records for the statue for the biggest ever statue of the comedian!!!

2. Was it a permanent structure?

yes it was a permanent structure

3. Where was it located?

It was located 300 yards away from Lord Someshwar temple near the coastline at a place where pilgrims park vehicles and from where they walk down towards the sanctum sanctorum.

4. Did they have permission to build it?

They didnot have the required permission!!! This is what Hegde says

The deputy commissioner told me to get a no-objection certificate from the police and the forest department, but every official wants me to wait. They tell me to go ahead but won’t give me that official letter of sanction. Can a man wait for years for permission

So now we have a situation in which a film director wants to build a humongous 67 feet Charlie Chaplin  Statue for Guinness book record in the land which is used for temple purposes and they want the devotees to accept it without a protest!!!

Now Pièce de résistance. Lets see how the same Times reported a similar incident few weeks back. Only difference is in this case Hindus were trying to install a Hanuman Statue. Following is the TOI report

Caught in a communal row, a massive 24-foot Hanuman statue installed at Sunset Point in Kanyakumari has triggered tension between Hindu groups and fishermen in the town, a predominantly Christian pocket.

On Sunday, an attempt by district authorities to remove the statue invited stiff opposition as members of Hindu groups, including local BJP, Hindu Munani and Shiv Sena, formed a human cordon around it. Several policemen have been posted in the area to prevent violence.

Kanyakumari district collector Jyothi Nirmala told TOI, "The trust which installed the statue had only obtained the permission of the panchayat and this was insufficient. The trust should have actually obtained the permission of the government through the district administration."
